British Dance Edition 2010

2010 is a year full of festivals for DanceXchange. As well as IDFB and U Dance England we played host to British Dance Edition 2010 (BDE2010) in February.

Taking place at venues across Birmingham from 3rd to 6th February 2010, BDE is an internationally significant biennial industry showcase of British Dance, encapsulating the best dance work made in Britain today. The showcase is for programmers, producers, artists and the public.

BDE 2010 included performances, sharing of works in progress, receptions and networking, debates, professional development opportunities, a trade fair and a digital strand.

BDE is an important event in the UK dance calendar, and plays a vital role in stimulating the touring of British Dance both within the UK and internationally
