Taking place on:

  • Sunday 1 August 2021, 10-12pm – Bharatanatyam
  • Sunday 1 August 2021 10-12pm – Kathak

This fantastic opportunity is for talented young dancers aged 11-16 to find out more about our Yuva Gati programme and to take part in Kathak & Bharatanatyam technique and creative workshops, ahead of our annual auditions. We highly recommend that you attend this open day if you are thinking of applying for the Yuva Gati scheme.

The day will include:

  • Meet the course tutors
  • Tips for performing at your best for the audition
  • Advice for having a strong voice and presence in interviews

The Open Day will last for approximately 2 hours.

You will be able to attend the Open Day from the comfort of your own home on Zoom. However, we do ask for you to please ensure you have sufficient space around you when participating in the workshop to refrain from any injuries.

You don’t have to have previous experience of learning Kathak or Bharatanatyam but if you do, that would be great! Just come with an open mind and bring plenty of enthusiasm and passion to learn.

If you sign up for the open day, you will also be invited to the CAT Yuva Gati Summer Showcase, where you’ll see Bharatanatyam and Kathak like you’ve never seen before!

You’ll be able to:

  • Watch the Summer Showcase of current students of Yuva Gati and feel the energy and vibrancy of the programme.
  • Exclusive chance to watch the new Indian Raga videos that have been produced in partnership with CAT Yuva Gati by graduates

If you would like to attend the open day – please return a completed Open Day Booking Form. We do accept alternative applications such as video/voice note, please also email this to

Please note places are limited so they will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
