We have collaborated with New Art Exchange in a new partnership that supports our shared ambition to enable artists and audiences to be with dance and choreography in the gallery context.
We are pleased to announce Re-Frame, a commission in residence” opportunity, for an artist working in the field of dance, movement and/or choreography to experiment with cross-disciplinary practice in the context of a visual art gallery and produce a new piece of work.
Re-Frame is open to artists from the Global Majority working within the first 10 years of their career and living in the Midlands.*

* Global Majority is a collective term that refers to people who are Black, Asian, Brown, dual-heritage, indigenous to the global south, and/or have been racialised as ‘ethnic minorities’.
*Working in the first 10 years of your career meaning since you first established your artistic practice.
The Midlands refers to – Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire.
